The OFFICIAL Lanterns trailer is finally here… and it looks incredible. In this reaction and breakdown, I go over everything that stood out, from the possible dynamic between Hal Jordan and John Stewart to the mystery surrounding the Guardians of the Universe, Sinestro’s influence, and why the Manhunters may actually be the true threat of Season 1. One of the biggest details I noticed is that the Guardians may not fully trust Hal Jordan after he was trained by Sinestro & Sinestro committed a coup against the Guardians. That history could explain why John Stewart is paired with him to replace him—and why this season may be just as much about Hal and John’s journey toward trusting each other as it is solving the central mystery.
