I bought a magazine at my local bookstore and realized it might be the analog version of doomscrolling, but better. In this video, I talk about why magazines deserve a comeback. They offer discovery and casual browsing without the brain rot of endless scrolling. They actually end. You own them. The format forces you to engage with ideas for more than 30 seconds at a time. This isn't just about highbrow literary journals either. Even magazines like Seventeen that I read as a teenager were better for my brain than what's replaced them.
