You’ll cover social, biological, and physical science, which gives you a well-built foundation. People interested in environmental science are often curious about the planet, climate change, and how to improve overall ecological well-being. If you are passionate about understanding the environment, an environmental major may suit you! The environmental industry generates more than $265 billion and more than 125,000 new positions annually in the United States. For many people, you are probably told that the environmental sector isn’t a well-paying job compared to business or technology.
