Why I Love the Leica 90mm APO

The Leica APO Summicron M 90mm f2 ASPH is unlike any other lens in my camera bag. It doesn’t rely on vintage imperfections, dreamy softness, or exaggerated character. Instead, Leica created something incredibly precise a lens that combines astonishing sharpness, beautiful compression, and a rendering style that feels both modern and unmistakably Leica. In this video, I share my experience using the 90mm APO on the Leica M and SL systems, from portraits and street photography to the unique challenges of focusing a telephoto lens on a rangefinder camera.
