The Lhasa-Ningchi highway runs parallel to the Lhasa-Nyingchi section of the national highway G318, and the one-way drive time between Lhasa and Nyingchi has been shortened from 8 hours to 5 hours. ⏺ CHINA EXPRESSWAY G4218 Ya'an-Yecheng Expressway, is the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway (National Expressway G42), the east-west transverse trunk line of China's national highway network ) is one of the contact lines. It has a total area of 114,870 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Lhasa, Shannan, Nagqu, and Qamdo within the autonomous region, and adjacent to Yunnan outside the autonomous region.
