Proteus: Ten Years Later Review
Original Publishing date: 2023-1-29 (ten year anniversary of the game's launch) Proteus is an example of how something as simple as art can be challenged and bastardized into an argument of whether or not something is good, solely based on surface-level understanding; or not having the patience to appreciate the art. Today, Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, Proteus is officially ten years old, and is quite the game to look at. On the surface, one would probably figure it's an interactive screensaver, which isn't wrong, but does sell the game short. Join me, as I have a look at this wonderful "anti-game".
