Von Paraguay zum Urlaub nach Bonito

Email: [email protected] Website: https://www.allesandersparaguay.com Hello everyone, in this video we're taking you along on our trip to Bonito, Brazil. We've always said that Paraguay would be our base camp, as it's a great place to emigrate to and an even better place to live. And as is typical for Bassam, you have to leave every now and then to explore other countries in South America, for example. That's exactly what we did, and this time we traveled to Bonito, Brazil. The journey takes about eight and a half hours from our location. Depending on how often you stop and how fast you drive, you'll arrive in about nine hours. We chose the route north on Ruta 8, which later becomes Route 60 in Brazil. As is usually the case, the roads in Brazil are much better developed. Therefore, it's very relaxing to drive this route once you're in Brazil. In Paraguay, you do encounter the occasional pothole, numerous speed bumps (called "lomadas" here) designed to slow traffic, and many small villages and towns that you have to squeeze through. Nevertheless, both the outward and return journeys were very relaxed. The border crossing at Bella Vista was completely unmanned on both the way there and back. Bonito itself is fed by many rivers in the area. It's said to have the third clearest water in the world. ☺️ Accordingly, Bonito is a true water paradise. It's very touristy, but during our visit, it was very relaxed. It's a family-friendly destination for all ages. You can do a wide variety of water activities, such as snorkeling, diving, hiking, or ziplining down and splashing into the water, or simply relaxing in the so-called balneareos (beach bars). There are also several caves to explore, where you can snorkel, and a fantastic treetop adventure park! The town boasts countless shops and just as many restaurants, so there's something for everyone. For us, it was a wonderful change of pace and a welcome escape from the brutal heat here in Paraguay. The fact that there are so many water-based activities was especially refreshing. Our verdict: Bonito gets top marks for a short break from Paraguay!
