He is also a man who loves to read, his favorite book being the famous Arabic novel One Thousand and One Nights. He owns the important construction company Binyapi; Sherezade Evliyaoğlu (Bergüzar Korel), a brilliant architect, works at a company where she loses her husband, Ahmed Evliyaoğlu, in an accident and is left alone with her five-year-old son, Kaan (Efe Çınar), who has been diagnosed with leukemia. Kaan's illness reaches a critical point, requiring an urgent bone marrow transplant. She goes to her father-in-law, Burhan Evliyaoğlu (Metin Çekmez), to ask for the money she needs for the operation, but he refuses to give it to her because he never agreed to his son, Ahmed (Atilla Türkmen), marrying her. He also blames her for his death and has lived in denial of his grandson ever since. Because her father-in-law refused, Scherezade has no choice but to ask Binyapi for money. Onur says he'll give it to her on the condition that she spends a night with him (he does this to test her, since, according to him, women are only interested in money).
