We check into the Foundry Hotel, spend the day chasing thoughtfully curated coffee, and finally sit down at Red Ginger — a spot we’ve wanted to try for a long time. Along the way, we explore Asheville’s urban trail, uncovering pieces of the city’s history and learning how this creative mountain hub came to be. We fuel up at High Five Coffee, soak in the architecture and stories behind downtown landmarks like the Flat Iron Building, the S&W Building, and the Grove Arcade, and spend the day roaming Asheville’s streets, taking in the energy, culture, and character that make this city feel so alive. This episode is all about slowing down, exploring with intention, and seeing Asheville beyond the highlights. We check out the Flat Iron Building and Rooftop as well as the Grove Arcade. We also take a look at the famous Basilica of St Lawrence but it was closed for restoration. We finish our time having coffee at High Five coffee. They truly have a great cup of coffee.
