Citizen Miyota 8200a Rebuild Part 3 of 4

On the worktable today is a Citizen (Miyota) 8200a movement which was popular back in its heydays, that's circa 1974 to the late 70s. It is possible that it may have been last produced in 1980 however don't quote me on that. It's a 21 Jewel workhorse with central seconds and day and date complications. Fully automatic with a full-size oscillating weight and while it's not hackable it can be manually wound. In this video, after giving the watch movement and parts an ultrasonic bath, we'll do a complete resassembly from putting together the train wheels, keyless work, day/date wheels, watch hands, etc and testing the midnight date change. This video is part 3 of 4 and consists of installing the following: Minute Wheel Guard Oiling Majority of the Jewels Plastic Date Dial Driving Wheel Intermediate Date Wheel Date Corrector Spring Date Corrector Cannon Pinion Hour Wheel Date Wheel Day Dial Driving Wheel Date Jumper Spring Date Dial Guard Day Wheel Oiling the Day Wheel Removing the Winding Stem Inserting Plastic Spacer 🔔 If you haven't already and liked the content, please click on Subscribe, Like and hit that Bell icon for future notifications. ❤️ Please help support in developing the channel and letting it grow.
