Russian video blogger Golman delivers more than just a hysterical monologue. His speech reveals a whole worldview that explains both the war and the internal structure of modern Russia. Yuri Romanenko dissects this stream of consciousness like an X-ray of the Russian collective unconscious. It simultaneously encompasses faith in a "good tsar," hatred of the boyars, nostalgia for Stalin's repressions, a sense of a total conspiracy, and the conviction that Russia is being humiliated by enemies on all sides. Any failure is attributed to external control, betrayal, or sabotage, but never to the decisions of the Russian government itself. Golman speaks of the generals' lies, meager pensions, ghostly northern cities, and economic degradation. However, the conclusion is not a rejection of war, but a demand to fight harder. Social pain instantly turns into aggression, a desire to punish neighbors, and hope for a nuclear button. According to the political analyst, it is precisely this logic that makes the Russian system particularly dangerous: it doesn't correct the causes of the catastrophe, but rather reinforces the very course that led to it. In this worldview, Stalin remains the savior, even though enemies supposedly penetrated everything under him. Putin, too, remains an untouchable tsar, even though the state is crumbling before our eyes. The FSB simultaneously controls everything and is unable to prevent attacks on Russian territory. Contradictions don't destroy this worldview because within it, they are simply not perceived as contradictions. A separate line of analysis is the fear of disintegration. The monologue already hints at a willingness to close off Siberia, to isolate itself from Moscow, and turn the region into a separate world. Romanenko ironically calls this the "Omsk People's Republic" project, but behind the joke lies an important symptom: the imperial consciousness is gradually shifting from dreams of expansion to the expectation of internal collapse. Golman blames Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the Baltic states, the United States, Europe, and its own elites. In this picture, Russia appears as a besieged fortress, despite starting the war and ruining relations with its neighbors. The worse the consequences become, the stronger the desire to find a new enemy and open another front. The culmination is a belief in tactical nuclear weapons as a magical solution. Just press a button, and everything will "disappear." Romanenko emphasizes the lack of cause and effect: four years of war have brought Russia new blows, isolation, and fear, but the only response offered is once again a greater dose of violence. This fragment is important not as a portrait of one eccentric blogger. It shows how humiliation, subordination, imperial resentment, and the cult of force combine to form a mass political psychology. It is from this mixture that mobilization, tolerance for suffering, and a willingness to project internal violence externally—to Bucha, Mariupol, and other occupied cities—are born.
