Welcome to Miyajima - a beautiful island located close to the city of Hiroshima. It's famous for its stunning floating torii gate and it's one of the best places to see autumn foliage in Japan. We saw the most vibrant momiji here! This island is rich in natural beauty, from its lush forests full of maple trees to its wildlife (there are deer roaming around everywhere!) We had incredible street food in Miyajima, from oysters to traditional sweets (in the shape of maple leaves!). This island is a must-stop even if you don't have loads of time to explore it. In this video, we also stop briefly in Osaka to rest before we head to Tokyo.
