LAST MINUTE LIMBS as Scarborough Athletic beat Darlington 2-1 in the 94th minute! There’s nothing better than a last minute winner on an away day is there? Well actually, a five guys burger on the way home is right up there 👀 Welcome back to Seadogs On Tour. Today I travelled to Blackwell Meadows, the home of Darlington FC to watch my team Scarborough Athletic face a side that sat just one place above them in the National League North table. Goals from Richie Bennett, Will Thornton and unfortunately (own goal) Kieran Weledji were enough to give the Seadogs victory over the home side. Special mention to Darlington sub keeper Liam Mason who was called into action after Rory Watson came off injured. The 19 year old was immediately given a penalty to face and triumphed. Saving Ste Walkers spot kick and keeping Darlington in the game. With just 4 games of Scarborough’s 25/26 National League North campaign left to play, it really is all to play for.
