For this rainy slow travel day in Seoul, we decided to escape the crowded tourist hubs and explore the city's underrated neighborhoods, Buam-dong and Mullae-dong. We head up to the outskirts of Buam-dong for lunch, including a curated set meal and a hilltop espresso bar with mountainside views. From there, we visit Mullae-dong, an up-and-coming artsy town with a wide variety of food and shopping options. We may have had our favorite meal in Seoul at a local favorite Korean barbecue restaurant specializing in gopchang (grilled intestine).
