കാന്താരി തേച്ച് ചുട്ട മീനും അറേബ്യൻ റൈസും | Grilled Fish + Grilled Chicken from A R Dine Thrissur

A few months back, when we were invited to A R Dine, we enjoyed Kanthari Grilled Fish with Arabian Style Rice Preparations and Chicken Pan Grilled. There were two kinds of Arabian rice also, which had the flavors of fish and chicken. However, my favorite from A R Dine was Kanthari Fish Grilled, while the chicken pan-grilled were also equally good. നിളയുടെ തീരത്തുള്ള ചെറുതുരുത്തിയിലെ എ ആർ ഡൈൻ എന്ന അറേബ്യൻ റെസ്റ്റോറന്റിലേയ്ക്ക് ഞങ്ങളെ ക്ഷണിച്ചത് ഏകദേശം മൂന്നര മാസം മുൻപാണ്. ഞങ്ങൾ ഏതായാലും ആതിര എന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോവാനിരിക്കുന്ന സമയം ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, ആ ക്ഷണം സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും ഞങ്ങൾ അവിടെ പോവുകയും ചെയ്തു. അറേബ്യൻ റെസ്റ്റോറന്റ് ആയതുകൊണ്ട് അറേബ്യൻ രുചികൾ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ പോയതും. അവിടെ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് രണ്ടു തരം അറേബ്യൻ റൈസുകൾ കൂടാതെ കാന്താരിയിൽ ചുട്ട മീനും അൽ ഫാം മീനും രണ്ടു തരം ചിക്കൻ ചുട്ടതും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു ഉച്ച ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്. ആതിര വെജിറ്റേറിയൻ ആയതുകൊണ്ട് സാധാ മീൽസ് ആണ് പുള്ളിക്കാരി കഴിച്ചത്. എ ആർ ഡൈനിൽ നിന്ന് കഴിച്ചതിൽ എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടമായത് അവരുടെ കാന്താരി അരച്ച് ചുട്ട മീൻ ആണ്. ചിക്കൻ ചുട്ടതും നല്ലതായിരുന്നു. So our first obvious choice was fish, in two different varieties. As I love spicy fish, I opted for the fish grilled with Kandari (bird's eye chili) masala. The other fish we ordered was the one grilled with Al Fahm masala. Both tasted good, but I loved the Kandari fish way more than the other one. As for Kalpita, the spiciness of Kandari was too much for her. So she was happy with Al Fahm fish. Among the rice varieties, the one with chicken flavor or the Marosh rice was what I liked more. There were no chicken pieces, but the chicken stalk was added to this rice. As for the chicken varieties, we took spicy grilled chicken which was with bones and a less spicy one which was boneless. I relished the spicy chicken while my kids enjoyed the chicken without many spices. While all of us ordered these fish and chicken varieties, our friend, Athira, opted for normal vegetarian meals. After the restaurant treat, we spent some time on the banks of Bharathapuzha River. Enjoying the natural fish spa with a cool breeze was truly memorable. A good food treat and a cool company with nature made the day for my family.
