While traveling in Pakistan, I was invited to the home of a taxi driver I met in Lahore. There, I briefly got a glimpse of the daily life of the locals. Initially, I took a taxi simply for transportation, but as we talked, I was invited to his home and was able to meet his children and family in person. Although it was a sudden visit, I prepared a small gift for the children and spent precious time with the locals, sitting around with the neighbors and eating with my hands. The Pakistani family warmly welcomed a stranger traveler who had come to visit. And finally, I was able to hear the story of a father who worries about his children's future here. I wonder what a local Pakistani home actually looks like. I will continue to capture the people, scenery, and stories I encounter, regardless of whether I am on land or by sea.
