The last time was…eventful. You hiked too far up the mountain and got lost in a blizzard, then met a Kitsune woman who saved you from freezing by taking you to her cabin. She offered you tea and even a place to rest and stay the night. It turns out you met this woman before. You saved what you thought was a wild fox from hunters months before, not knowing that this animal was really the Kitsune in disguise. Feeling an instant connection you didn’t really want to leave her the next morning but duty called, you had to go back to the city. Now having returned to the village of your grand parents, you sit writing the beginnings of a novel. Still wondering if somehow you had dreamt the whole thing. It was now night time and although you wanted more than anything to visit her again. It was now too late and dangerous to travel up the mountain again…that would have to wait until the next morning. Would she even still be there? You wondered. Would she remember who you where? Maybe you won’t have to wait until the next morning to find out.
