from the city of Tokyo to a green oasis therein, join me on an adventure of discovering what 森林浴 [shinrin yoku] (jap. forest bathing) can look, sound, and feel like. my private conversation with the trees of Tokyo (as yet another chapter of my life comes to an organic close) conveyed to you using a mix of poetry and spoken media. maybe, just maybe, you would feel called to venture out to your own conversation with the trees sometimes soon, too. don’t worry – i let the trees know you’ll be there when you’re ready. in the meantime, i’ll be somewhere between videos… p.s.: all of the bird sounds in the video are completely, utterly, beautifully, and magically real.
