Hamburger Corn Casserole Is This 1960s Classic Still Worth Making? 🤔 plus CHICKS & Trees! 😂 Vintage Hamburger Corn Casserole Hamburger Corn Casserole Ingredients: 2 pounds ground beef 1 onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 28oz can whole tomatoes, cut into fours 8oz can tomato sauce 16oz can corn, drained 2 tsp chili powder salt & pepper, to taste 1 can beans (pinto, navy, or black), rinsed and drained Topping: 2 cups corn meal 1 1/2 cups milk 2 eggs 6 TB melted butter 8oz shredded cheddar cheese Directions: Preheat oven to 350. Cook ground beef with onions and garlic, drain. In a greased 9X13 pan add all ingredients and mix. Make topping: Mix the cornmeal, milk, eggs, and butter. Pour over meat mixture in pan. Top with shredded cheese. Cover and bake 35 minutes. Remove cover and bake 5-10 more minutes.
