An epic road trip covering wrong 4500 km one way. It was one of my life dreams. But it was much easier than I thought Driving from Uk. Documents to take, Driving licence Insurance MOT certificate Certain countries need us to pay motorway charges, book them online ( Austria, Hungary) Book ferry or euro tunnel Best advice to get premium diesel or premium petrol, the car would definitely give you extra mileage. For example I get over 100km for a tank for my car when I use premium diesel from BP or Shell Hotels and B&B we booked as we travelling, this will reduce the stress. Remember you have a car with you while driving 100 of miles you can always find an accommodation. We drove around 5-6 hours a day , we stopped a lot to see around and stoped on time for dinner.
