Bluegrass icon Jesse McReynolds and his group The Virginia Boys perform "Deep Elem Blues" live at the 2012 International Bluegrass Music Association Fan Fest in Nashville. Jesse McReynolds, known for his mandolin playing, has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1964. In the early 1950s, McReynolds and his brother Jim formed Jim & Jesse and, along with their band The Virginia Boys, performed throughout the world and in every state except Alaska. When Jim passed away in 2002, the brothers were the longest active professional brother duo in country music history.
