FORMALIN SAGA FINALLY CONCLUDES, CM ASSURES TOUGHER CHECKS, STRONGER FDA _Prudent Media Goa

After resuming of monsoon session proceedings at 12:30 p.m. Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar filed his say over formalin issue. Parriker has stated that the wholesale fish market can be shifted to any other part of Goa. Parrikar said that the items which are not sold in Goa are exported, while the import of fish stabilises price of fish in Goan market. CM has further stated that FDA needs to be strengthened with additional manpower and equipment. He has assured to put in place FDA mechanism in place before import ban is lifted.
