Will We Recognize People in Heaven?

In October of 2012 Randy spent a weekend at The Cove, The Billy Graham Association's conference center in Asheville, NC. Over the weekend Randy was interviewed by Dr. John Akers on the theme "Four Central Truths of A Biblical Worldview." We all have loved ones that have gone on before us to Heaven. John asks a question that concerns many: will we recognize the people we knew in this life when we there? Randy answers by looking at the Apostle Paul's statements regarding grief in 1 Thessalonians 4. The emphasis is that the loss is only temporary. That we will recognize those we have lost is inherently implied in the encouragement to look forward to being reunited with those we love in Heaven.
