DIY solar project and real-time internet monitor using Raspberry Pi and EpSolar Tracer
A demonstration of my small-scale solar power project and real-time monitor. Here I talk you through the basic features of my system. 4 x 100w solar panels charge 2 x 110ah batteries via a Tracer 2210A MPPT charge controller. The Mercury 300w pure sine inverter powers all the LED bulbs inside the house. The energy production/consumption data is sent to my web server and displayed in real-time at www.SolarPoweredHome.co.uk
