I Will Fix This Rusted Land Cruiser Frame

In this episode, we take on one of the most crucial repairs in our Toyota Land Cruiser 60 Series restoration—fixing the rusted rear section of the frame where the rear spring hangar and body mounts attach. We start by building a precise template from the original frame, transferring it onto a steel plate, and carefully aligning it with the existing holes. Precision is key here! Will it fit perfectly, or will we run into unexpected frame distortion? After final adjustments, we cut out the rusted section and weld in the new one, repeating the process on both sides. Since the previous owner didn't care about welding distortion, the frame has already warped—but can we prevent it from getting worse? Or will this classic off-roader restoration take another unexpected turn?
