Repairing a dead Midea air cooler is quite difficult, considering the numerous components that must be checked. The disassembly process itself takes quite a long time and requires extra care. If you find your Midea AC 100 air cooler completely dead, or won't turn on at all, you can watch this video from start to finish to check it. The first thing to check when a Midea air cooler is completely dead is to check the power supply line from the PLN (State Electricity Company). Then, check the magnetic switch on the back. If both of these components are OK, check all fuses on the PCB and controller modules. If all is OK, check the 5 Volt DC voltage going into the controller module. If it's missing, check the diode. If the diode is OK, check component L1 (transformer). If L1 is OK, move on to L2 (2.2 ohm resistor). If damaged, replace it with the same resistor or a 1 ohm resistor.
