The ULTIMATE rice cake recipe
Join me in the kitchen for the ultimate rice (kripsie) cake recipe! This recipe was inspired by Pockitfuel... Make sure to check out @pockitfuel on instagram for other great ride fuel ideas. Recipe (6 rice cakes) Ingredients: 150g marshmallows 100g rice krispies 20g butter Maldon sea salt (to taste) Method: 1. Melt butter in a pan on low heat. 2. Add marshmallows and stir whilst they melt. 3. When marshmallows are fully melted, turn the heat off and add the rice krispies. Or add the marshmallow to a bowl of rice krispies. 4. Stir until the marshmallow is fully incorporated. Add salt and also stir in. 5. Line a tray with greaseproof paper and press down the mixture. Use a wet spatula to press down so it doesn’t stick. 6. Tip: Double the recipe to make a full tray. 7. Refrigerate for an hour or so before cutting. I typically refrigerate overnight, then cut in the morning before wrapping and riding. (For biscoff edition I used a little less better and added a big dollop of biscoff).
