Kerry-Lynne Findlay wins BC Conservative leadership
In a tight contest wrapping up in Vancouver on May 30, 2026, Kerry-Lynne Findlay defeated four other candidates to become the new leader of the British Columbia Conservative Party. There were four rounds of voting, with Findlay overcoming her closest competitor, Caroline Elliott, by 51 percent to 49 percent. The other three candidates were Ian Black, Yuri Fulmer, and Peter Milobar. Findlay will become the Leader of the Official Opposition in the British Columbia Legislature should she contest and win a seat in a by-election.
