The impact of social movements and participation with Athayde Motta

Athayde Motta holds a master’s degree in Anthropology and a master's degree in Public Affairs (both from the University of Texas at Austin). He has a long career in the areas of international development, management of civil society organizations (CSOs) and program and project development. He worked for Oxfam GB and the Ford Foundation and was the Executive Director at IBASE and the Baobá Fund for Racial Equity. He's been a member of the Executive Committees of both the Brazilian Association of NGOs (ABONG) and Forus International. He is a Synergos fellow and member of Publish What You Pay's Board of Trustees. Brazil is going through challenging times.
