The investigation into the alleged members of the group known as "Fortuna 2026" continues after those detained on June 19 were released. The Division of Investigation of Highly Complex Crimes (DIVIAC) links them to a suspected criminal organization, while some victims expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision. In a statement, the Fourth Office of the Sixth Corporate Criminal Prosecutor's Office of Cercado de Lima, Rímac, Breña, and Jesús María explained that the police intervention was officially reported at 10:01 p.m. via a Word document, without signatures and with incomplete documentation. The Public Prosecutor's Office reported that, among the main irregularities, were the absence of the geolocation record that justified entry into the raided property, the lack of records of cell phone inspections, the shipment of the devices without proper sealing, and the absence of audiovisual recordings of the operation, with only photographs being submitted. Furthermore, it was specified that no firearms or illicit substances were found during the operation. The Prosecutor's Office also indicated that, during the proceedings, four people who reported the theft of their cell phones gave their statements and did not identify those apprehended as the perpetrators. However, other victims stated that they recognized the recovered devices as their own.
