Ringing in the New Year on the Dry Gulch Railroad

It's not every day one gets to visit an amusement park in winter. And it's even rarer finding two steam locomotives operating at the same place. On January 1st, 2017 one could witness both as Hersheypark held its annual Christmas Candylane. During candylane, a guest could ride up to 5 of the 13 coasters; as well as a number of other thrilling & family friendly rides. The Dry Gulch Railroad is one such ride, showing the park in its current winter hibernation by day and by night, a traveling extravaganza going through varying lighted signs and displays for the holiday season.
