Cop KIlled in Ambush

The late Constable, Timot Kavanamur, former member of the Port Moresby-based Air Tactical Unit from the Special Services Division, was shot in an ambush yesterday afternoon in Porgera, Enga Province. SSD Deputy Commander, Chief Inspector Luvi Florian, said the alleged shooters are from the Tagali LLG of Hela Province. His men were caught by surprise by the armed criminals, after returning from a raid at nearby Suyan village.
