It was at this Well that the people of the tribes of Al-Aws and Khazraj and others came out to greet the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions. History The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companion Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (RA), stood to rest in a garden next to the Ethiq Well known as the Shade Garden. The sun was shining down, and it was very hot. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq raised his robe to shade the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and in order for the people of Madinah to know that they were in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
