Riding Bhutan Was Epic... But It Broke My DJI Cameras! (E5)

Bhutan just handed us our most brutal, beautiful, and absolutely unforgiving day of motorcycle adventure riding yet. We started the morning in the historic mountain town of Mongar, completely unaware that this 160km journey south toward the Indian border would test our bikes, our bodies, and our DJI camera gear to the absolute limit. In this episode, the elements completely take over. We drop altitude from freezing, thin mountain air straight into a 30°C desert canyon that looks like a cross between Switzerland and the Grand Canyon. But the mesmerizing Bhutanese landscapes came with a heavy price. Between relentless switchbacks, rain-washed landslides, and brutal corrugated dirt roads, the terrain claimed major casualties. Before the day was out, violent crosswinds crashed a brand-new DJI drone into a suspension bridge, intense road vibrations snapped an extension pole to smash a DJI 360 camera beyond repair, and the treacherous conditions caused our first rider accident of the trip. From the stunning Kuri Chhu Reservoir and the historic Panbang Bailey Bridge to a surreal jungle camp finish, this is raw, unfiltered adventure motorcycling at its finest. Bhutan: 2.
