Chasing Waterfalls at Ravenshoe

Col and Rose go chasing waterfalls near Ravenshoe on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland. Ravenshoe is a little village just a few hours inland from Cairns and there are so many beautiful walks and vistas to take in and enjoy in this tropical location where waterfalls are plenty and the temperature makes it great for swimming any time of year. We start our waterfall adventure in the Railway Caravan Park in Ravenshoe. the trains no longer run so it is lovely and quiet. The Park is council owned and run by volunteers who love their town and the camaraderie and town pride is evident everywhere. There is a loop drive to take in Milla Milla where there is a very popular waterfall that was so crowded that we couldn't take any video without getting children in shot everywhere, so we headed off to find the less crowded spots. And we found plenty, including a secret spot that was told to us by a cashier in a local shop.
