Dusk descends on RAAF Exercise Pitch Black 2024.

Week two of Royal Australian Air Force exercise Pitch Black 2024 kicks off the night flying phase in the Australian Outback. Aircraft from RAAF Base Darwin, Tindal and Amberley all converge on the training areas located south of Darwin as they coordinate OCA and DCA (Offensive and Defensive counter air) operations in darkness, where the exercise Pitch Black truly earns its namesake.
