How to Teach a Child to Answer Yes/No Questions

Many children with language delays have trouble answering yes/no questions. Often our children will simply repeat our question or even just the last word of the question (such as "Do you want your doll?" child: "doll"). We can help them answer the question with a "yes" or "no" by asking the question and then immediately answering for them so they can repeat the answer back. ("do you want your doll? yes!") Watch the full video for all of the steps to teaching a child to answer yes/no questions.
