2015 Audi A8 3.0 TDI (258hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (1080p)

This weekend I present to you the full Drive & Sound test with the recently facelifted 2014/2015 Audi A8 3.0 TDI Clean Diesel developing 258 hp and 580 Nm of torque over a wide powerband. In contrast to the A6/A7 that feature a 7-speed S-Tronic with this engine the A8 always comes standard with the great 8-Gear ZF transmission. We had this A8 for our 2.000 km road trip to the Geneva Motor Show and it was the perfect mate for a journey like that. The car is very quiet so you drive high speeds for a longer time without getting tired. Also the punch of the engine and the fuel consumption are very good. As you can see in the acceleration clip the transmission has fast gear changes and the car accelerates pretty decent to 200 km/h despite the weight of almost 2 tones. In comparison, a LCI BMW 740d is around 1.5 sec. faster to 200 km/h, but also having more horsepower (313) and a bit more torque (630). Please make sure to LIKE / COMMENT / SUBSCRIBE!
