Intermediate Cantonese: Tips for your next trip to Japan (中級廣東話: 下次去日本嘅小貼士)

Hey all, Kingsley here! This is another video of me practising my Hong Kong Cantonese speaking skills. I would rate this one at around the intermediate (B1 and B2) levels, so if your Chinese/Cantonese learning journey is at this stage, I think this would be an interesting and useful video to watch. In the video I talk about some basic tips and advice for your next holiday to Japan. When Hong Kongers go to Japan they refer to it as 返鄉下 (going back to their home village) as they go so frequently and they're so familiar with the place - but for anyone who's learning Cantonese and happens to be planning a trip to Japan, I think the basic tips covered will be extremely useful both for your preparation (what to pack, customs etc) and during your stay. As a high-intermediate/low-advanced speaker of Cantonese, I still makes some mistakes in my speech - or say things in a roundabout way. As such, I have added annotations throughout the video with appropriate corrections or adjustments so that you can learn the most correct and natural way to say things.
