Kelston Girls' Meke
Kelston Girls' College at the Fijian Village for the 2017 Pasifika Festival. This occassion celebrates Pasifika culture in Aotearoa and marks the 25th anniversary of the festival. The girls perform 3 traditional female dance forms: meke iri, vakamalolo & seasea. As they move through the 3 dance forms, they weave a story of Fiji's past, present and movement towards the future. Music in order of performance are: 'Noqu Moce' by Peni Seniasi 'Kalou Dau Yalovinaka' by New Covenant Gospel 'Raivotu Levu' by the World Harvest Centre Choir
