On a walk with Kubik the Dog and Masha, Yegor's brother's sister, we encountered all sorts of animals. First, a young moose twitched its ears through the tall weeds, then briskly trotted off into the forest. On the way back, we spotted a huge adult moose with fluffy antlers near the ruins of a barn. The same one I'd seen that same morning while searching online. It turned out he hadn't left the area, but had simply laid down and rested until evening. The moose wasn't at all impressed by our appearance. On our way down to the bridge, Kubik the Dog again sniffed a small hedgehog in almost the same spot as last time. We were touched, Masha rolled the hedgehog into the grass, and we left. Yol the Owl decided to renew her hole that evening, continuing her spring excavations.
