Testing Manure Spreader Bought from Online Auction

Today I am going to grease up and oil the old manure spreader that I bought from an online auction. I believe this manure spreader is a New Idea No. 19, but the distributor at the rear of the manure spreader has been replaced with one from a different spreader. So it has been somewhat pieced together. I will run some compost through it and test it out. I will be running it with the Allis Chalmers D17 tractor.
