DC to DC boost converter LTC1871 module at almost 2 amp in 1A out demonstration by electronzap

DC to DC voltage boost converter modules take a voltage from a power supply, and convert some of the supply current into a higher voltage. Twice the voltage out as in will need twice the current in as out. I demonstrate this with a LTC1871 module, used to power a 10Ω resistor (plus 2Ω due to cable resistance) at 10V, while the power supply provides 5V and more than twice the current do to losses.
