He began his career as a commercial photographer at age 21 while studying at Tama Art University. After graduating, he moved to Paris and appeared on the cover of the French national fashion magazine "Madame Figaro," earning him a contract with the magazine. During his seven years in France, he worked in Europe, America, and Asia. After returning to Japan in 2007, he has worked on still photography for domestic and international advertisements and magazine covers, as well as directing commercials and music videos. He is especially trusted by celebrities around the world. He has also appeared in special feature TV programs such as "Tetsuko's Room," "NHK-SWITCH," "5ji ni Muchuu," and "Matsuko no Kaigi." He also made a strong impact with his role in the film "Helter Skelter." Her books include "The True Identity of a Beautiful Woman" and "Woman" (Shueisha), as well as "I Decided to Live as a Slave of Beauty" (Bookman Publishing), co-authored with actress Shima Iwashita.
