Audi A8 D3 4.2TDI 08’ - Casual calm driving incl Norwegian autobahn

Drives surprisingly or just perfect as it can be for a car enthusiast, toms of comfort but also very sporty when needed! Almost perfect getaway car, its bit big so kinda scary to push it that much and with the amazing 4.2TDI engine it doesn’t stop accelerate, literally! The car has Sport suspension, heard that normal suspension is way more comfier and quite bad in corners in comparison. If interested there is a hard / sporty driving video of the car and a video of acceleration and sound, link in comments Positive things: -Comfy & quiet -Well built with the materials, good quailty even after 200k kms and xx years, done solid. -Sounds amazing when hot, gets really deep! -Amazing pulls as seen at last clip, and at those speeds comfort from suspension gets 10x times better. -Very sporty and brutal if needed, a monster during active driving -Fuel efficient when needed, goes low as 6.1l/100km motorway speeds, averaging 9l/100km now in winter with 19" heavy rims and not most efficient tyres. Summer its same with fuel, light rims :) Negative things: -Slow gearbox, sometimes a lot of delay when shifting at full acce which sometimes ruins the performance of the car, needs service. -Not that comfy as expected, but it has heavy winter wheels and some huge summer wheels + S8 suspension. -Wind noise from big mirrors and some from wheel wells in front, otherwise very silent cabin. -Heavy steering, needs a lot of turn but this gen of cars it was normal. -Audi should have fitted bigger brakes or better cooling.
