Dye wool with marigold flowers! Natural Dye Experiment | Last Minute Laura

Episode: 163 Date: November 24, 2019 Hello friends, In this video tutorial, I show you how I made some WILD colours with Marigold flowers that I collected from my mom and dad's farm! I could never have imagines such a beautiful dark brown from these golden orange and red flowers, but when I premordanted my wool with iron water (homemade) it came out FANTASTICAL!! Its almost black! It is like a dark olive brown with black mixed in. I love it. I also dyed a skein of hands-on yarn made by Sadie (from Sadie's Spincraft) and it turned a lovely yellow/ gold. I used Briggs and Little wool, in washed white for the other skein. What do you think?? Let me know in the comments!!!
