1989 Cape Dory 33 Flybridge

1989 Cape Dory 33 Flybridge I purchased the boat in October 2025. Before going to look at it, I scoured the internet seeking information or videos regarding this specific model. Sources say they only made 20 to 25 of this model before Cape Dory went out of business. Because of the limited number of these boats out there and the lack of information online, I decided to make a video providing a decent overview and tour of the boat. She is powered by twin Volvo TAMD41A engines paired with MS4 transmissions. We cruise comfortably at 9 knots at 2300 RPM, and can top out around 19–20 knots at 3800 RPM. This hull is incredibly stable and handles rough water beautifully. This is just the beginning!
