Federal Signal EOWS 612 Siren Test, Alert, Cary, IL

Please only use video if granted permission Update 5/17/19: this is a very late update but this 612 was replaced in the summer of 2018, making this the final 612 to be replaced in Cary. RIP Cary’s 612s and Allertor. Today I decided to re recorded Carys last remaining 612 in HD. The reason being that the other 2 have been replaced by 2001-130s, so I had to get this one in HD before it is gone. It is sad to see these older sirens go but I am also thankful that they are being replaced by better sirens that are more reliable. I don't know what qualify as rare anymore but I guess this might fall under that category considering it rotates around 4-6 rpm and is a newer 612 running off of a MCP. After it shut off I could hear some of Crystal Lakes 2001-130s going for a full 3 minute alert along with a bunch of Whelens and other sirens. Cary tests their sirens on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM. Thank you for watching and I hope you all enjoy the video!
