In this video, we show how to go from tapping in a basic groove idea to adding chords, bass, layers – and a finished master, all using Toontrack software. We start in EZdrummer 3 using Tap2Find, then edit accents and add a fill on the Song Track / Grid Editor. Next I write a custom chord progression in EZkeys 2 with Suggest Chords and refine voicings in the Chord Wheel. EZbass generates a line, then we reshape the rhythm by extracting groove from the drums. Finally, we layer modern sounds with expansions and finish with EZmix 3 AI-assisted mastering.
