One morning, a gentle breeze guided the Pride Landers to Pride Rock so they could pay tribute to the newborn princess heir. Timon and Pumbaa expressed excitement at helping raise another male lion cub, but Rafiki revealed that the cub was, in fact, a female named Kiara. Time passed, and Kiara grew into a young cub. One day, as she was overlooking the Pride Lands in excitement, her father, Simba, cautioned her that the savanna was dangerous.
